Mario and Lino, two friends born and raised in a poor suburb in Naples, never stepped out from that reality. They lead a monotonous life until Lino's little sister convinces the locals that she has performed a miracle and is considered a living Saint.

They find out they are different from what they thought. Mario realizes that he is in love with his best friend, and Lino does not notice it and hooks up with older women.
