Flowers | an LGBTQ+ Short Film (Award-Winning) – with Director Q&A

Over a weekend in spring, a high school boy reconnects with an old friend and begins to discover what it really means to be in love. Flowers follows Josh, a high school sophomore, as he spends a quiet weekend with his former best friend Eddie. What begins as a simple reconnection turns into an emotional journey into identity, intimacy, and first love. This award-winning short film was screened around the world — in London, Los Angeles, New York, Utah, and Perth — and was nominated for Best Short Film at the East London LGBTQ Film Festival. It also received Best Direction at the LGBTQ Toronto Film Festival in 2023.
